Tech Ventures Track Record

2011 – 2013

Co-founder & Executive Manager

In 2011, Brazil’s startup ecosystem was in its early days. Rosi joined Felipe Matos on a mission to launch the country’s first startup accelerator program. Initially a participant, she became a co-founder, leading 12 accelerator programs, supporting 100+ startups, and contributing to over R$ 400 million in raised capital. Startup Farm became known throughout Latin America and was acquired by a leading corporation.

2013 – 2017 | NON PROFIT

Co-founder & Director of Operations

As Brazil’s startup movement expanded, a non-profit was needed to foster entrepreneurial education to national growth. Rosi took on the role of Director of Operations, spearheading initiatives that led to CASE, the country’s largest startup conference, and the Startup Awards, all while co-founding and scaling iugu.com.

2013 – 2018 | FINCTECH

Co-founder & Growth Officer

At an early stage, iugu had just three months of runway after pivoting. Rosi joined as a Product Evangelist, driving adoption among SaaS startups using growth hacking strategies and positioning iugu as Brazil’s go-to financial infrastructure provider. The company later secured a R$ 120 million Series A from Goldman Sachs, and she remains a shareholder.

2018 – 2019 | EDTECH

Chief Operating Officer

With the rise of tech startups, the demand for skilled professionals skyrocketed. Gama Academy developed a unique training framework for coding, design, sales, and marketing. As COO, Rosi helped refine the business model, contributing to its R$ 33.5 million acquisition by Anima Educação in 2021.

2019 | INSURTECH

Growth Lead

Before transitioning to a nomadic lifestyle, Rosi joined Pier Digital after the company raised US$14.5M in Series A funding, to help scale its active user base from 2K to 40K. After five months of laying strategic groundwork, she realized it was time to step back and embark on a sabbatical—one that would redefine her path.
